Welcoming Dr Vittal Jadhav to Mind and Memory

We are pleased to welcome Dr Vittal Jadhav, Consultant in Acute and General Medicine, to the team at Mind and Memory.

Dr Jadhav brings with him an exceptional breadth of experience across both the United Kingdom and Australia, with nearly 20 years of service within the UK National Health Service (NHS). His career has been shaped by leadership in acute and general medicine, a strong commitment to patient-centred care, and a passion for improving health outcomes for individuals with complex medical needs.

Prior to joining Mind and Memory, Dr Jadhav served as Head of Service for Acute Medicine at the University Hospitals of Leicester in the United Kingdom, and later as Head of the Unit for Acute and General Medicine at Central Gippsland Hospital in Victoria, Australia. He currently also provides acute medical expert support to the High Complex Cognitive Care Service at Gold Coast University Hospital.

Dr Jadhav holds several prestigious postgraduate qualifications, including:

  • Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK)
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (FRCP)
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
  • Associate Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (AFRACMA)

In addition to his clinical expertise, he has also worked as a trained professional mentor, supervisor and appraiser, supporting the development of medical professionals and healthcare teams.

Dr Jadhav has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including:

Consulting at Mind and Memory

Dr Jadhav will be consulting from the Mind and Memory clinic on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and welcomes referrals from:

  • General Practitioners
  • Specialist clinicians
  • Community nurses
  • Allied health professionals
  • Healthcare practitioners involved in complex or chronic care management

His addition to the Mind and Memory team further strengthens our commitment to providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for individuals living with complex medical, cognitive and mental health needs across the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.
