Yes, we offer both online and telephone appointments for patients in Queensland and across Australia, making it easy to access care locally or from interstate.

No, we do not bulk bill. In exceptional circumstances, our psychiatrist may consider alternative payment arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

In most cases, a referral from a GP is required to see a psychiatrist. However, if you choose to pay the full private fee, you can book an appointment without a referral. Please note that without a referral, Medicare rebates will not apply.

Our typical waiting period for an appointment is 6–8 weeks. If your referring doctor considers your situation urgent, please ask them to indicate this on your referral with the relevant reasons, and we will do our best to arrange an earlier appointment.

Yes, we accept Workcover claims. Please provide your Workcover claim number and the relevant organisation details when submitting your referral.

Yes, we offer automatic payment plans. Please let our reception team know when paying for your appointment, and they will assist you with setting this up.

Typically, we do not offer after-hours support. In certain circumstances, your psychiatrist may provide a Telehealth appointment outside of business hours on a case-by-case basis.

If you require urgent or emergency care, please call 000, visit your nearest emergency department, or contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 for immediate support.

There are two options for claiming Medicare rebates for psychiatric consultations:

  1. Pay the full fee upfront – We process the Medicare rebate on your behalf, and the rebate is deposited into your nominated bank account within 1–2 business days.

  2. Pay the gap fee only – In this case, we receive the Medicare rebate directly from Medicare, and you will only be charged the gap (out-of pocket fee).

Yes, we collect a $300 deposit for all new patient initial appointments.

Yes. All patients are required to attend an initial appointment, even if you have been previously assessed or diagnosed by another clinician.
