Personal Experience

Dr Vittal Jadhav completed his postgraduate medical training in the United Kingdom and has worked nearly 20 years in the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Mind and Memory, Vittal was Head of Service for Acute Medicine at the University Hospitals of Leicester, United Kingdom and Head of the Unit for Acute and General Medicine Department at Central Gippsland Hospital, Sale 3850, Victoria, Australia. Currently Vittal provides acute Medical expert support to High Complex Cognitive Care service at Gold Coast University Hospital.



He has obtained postgraduate qualifications: Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK), Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (FRCP), Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Associate Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (AFRACMA). He has been a trained professional Mentor, Supervisor and Appraiser.

His areas of interest are General and Acute Internal Medicine, Management of Chronic Medical conditions, Metabolic syndromes, Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Hyperlipidaemia, Occult infections, Electrolyte imbalance, Complex Cognitive care, Hypo and Hyperthyroidism. He has a special interest in Quality Improvement, Patient Safety and Effective Delivery of Medical Patient Care Services. He will consult from Mind and Memory Service Clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He would be happy to receive referrals from General Practitioners, Specialist clinicians, Community Nurses, and any Health Care Practitioners.
